Rather than choosing between an ice maker and a water dispenser, these units produce a steady supply of ice alongside cold, hot, or Tri-Temp water dispensing from one footprint — bottle-fed or bottleless depending on model, so the format fits both plumbed and non-plumbed spaces.

Because the ice comes from the same water supply, filtration matters just as much here as it does on any Brio dispenser. Entry-level icemaker coolers use 2-stage or 3-stage sediment and carbon filtration, certified to NSF/ANSI 42, reducing chlorine taste and odor from both the drinking water and the ice itself. Higher-tier models step up to ultrafiltration or full reverse osmosis, reducing lead, arsenic, fluoride, PFAS, nitrates, chlorine, volatile organic compounds, and total dissolved solids and certified to NSF/ANSI 53 (health-effect contaminant reduction), 58 (RO system performance), and 372 (lead-free construction) — so ice made at home or in the office isn't just convenient, it's made from the same certified-clean water as the rest of the unit.

Feature sets vary by model, but Brio's ice dispensers are built around the conveniences that matter most for high-use spaces. Many units include a child safety lock on the hot spout, a removable drip tray and leak detector to manage everyday spills, and digital or LED control panels for adjusting ice and water settings.
